Blood Donation Campaign at Department of Pharmacy

 

Dept. of Pharmacy and Quantum Foundation jointly organized Blood Donation Campaign at the Pharmacy auditorium. The campaign was held on July 07, 2013. Head of the Dept. of Pharmacy Prof. Dr. Md. Mohiuddin Ahmed Bhuiyan mentioned in his speech that Social Awareness Club of Dept. of Pharmacy would like to encourage the young blood donors to donate blood and to help those who need it badly. Often people do not get enough blood when they are severely ill, so this effort will definitely help blood collection. Ms. Mehjabeen Gazi, Lecturer, Department of Pharmacy was the organizer of the Blood Donation Campaign. She mentioned that Dept. of Pharmacy along with the Social Awareness Club has been organizing such events with a view to facilitating the collection of blood. Often the students cannot donate blood even when they want to. Such efforts undoubtedly give them opportunity to donate blood. She also mentioned that Quantum Foundation is a trustworthy organization and makes the proper utilization of the collected blood.
